Most gambling news coming out of Cyprus is either focused on Europe’s first integrated resort and the largest casino in the region which is being built in the south by a consortium including Hong Kong-listed Macau, Manila, and Vladivostock operator Melco and America’s Hard Rock International. Other news surfacing from the divided country is usually about illegal casinos operating in the UN-controlled buffer zone that divides north from south. Although there are plenty of luxury casino resorts in the northern, Turkish-controlled region, they don’t usually get much attention in the international press.

That may all change with major developments and investment opportunities arising in the north and Eventus-International’s recent announcement of the first ever Cyprus Gaming Show, to be held at the Acapulco Beach Club & Resort Hotel in Kyrenia (also known as Keryneia in Greek or Girne) May 8-9, 2017. The Cyprus Gaming Show will be held in Limassol 12 – 13 September 2017.

The premiere event’s newly launched website describes the industry summit as, “The must-attend event for gaming professionals,” and goes on to relay, “This one-of-a-kind event brings together attendees from all gaming sectors, disciplines and regions throughout Cyprus and beyond. The Show features an extensive educational programme, industry-specific conference streams, an impressive trade show floor, products and services, interactive networking events, opportunities to interact and share ideas with industry peers and much more.

“The Cyprus Gaming Show offers delegates the opportunity to meet one-on-one with existing and prospective suppliers. Filled with the industry’s top companies and service providers, this is the industry exhibition to attend. New gaming products and services will be launched and showcased and multiple networking opportunities are available.”

Eventus International holds conferences and trade shows within Gaming and Technology functions across Asia and Africa, attended by hundreds of senior delegates from the private and public sector.
